BMA is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Team Evergreen grant of $5,000 for the Brainard Lake Trail Assessment Program and a grant of $3,750 our DEI Programs.

BMA will be working with the U.S. Forest Service, the Colorado Mountain Club and other stakeholders on Brainard Lake Recreation Area improvements. This process will assess both summer and winter use. We’ll be looking current trails, intersections and navigation to see how the system can be improved for all non-motorized uses.

Our DEI Programs focus on building representation and initiatives that support underserved communities, specifically BIPOC, Latinx and women. This grant will help us grow our capacity to better support our group rides, skills clinics, mechanic clinics, volunteer trail building events, and marketing efforts towards our local community.
