On the first weekend in May, six 4-person teams representing BMA descended on Highline State Park for the 14th Annual 18 Hours of Fruita. The race started just after midnight on Saturday, and by the time 6 PM had rolled around, members of the Brute Squad had completed 160 laps, for a total of 1168 miles of fast, flowy singletrack. For some, this was their first-ever race – for others, their first time riding at night. Congrats to all for a fantastic effort, and thanks for doing a great job representing BMA!
