On Labor Day Weekend, 25 members of the Brute Squad headed north to Spearfish, South Dakota to represent BMA at our end-of-season race, the Dakota Five-O, a fun and challenging 50-mile course through the Black Hills.

Brute accomplishments:

  • It was the largest number of athletes we have ever had participate in our end-of-season race.
  • For many, it was their first endurance race ever, and the furthest they had ever ridden in a single day.
  • Everyone who started the race finished the race!

Perfect weather, great community support, and an awesome post-race celebration made the day memorable. After four months of working out together, it was a fantastic end to our training season.

Thanks to the BMA for supporting the Brute Squad through the last five seasons. We are already looking forward to 2019!

Thanks to our sponsors, The Depot and Training Peaks.
