Brute Squad 2023 Season Registration – Group Leader
Registration includes a 16-week training program, a Brute Squad jersey (and a stipend for shorts or another item of your choosing, designed for us by our local sponsor Cuore), and a premium level TrainingPeaks account for the duration of the program.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Be at workouts on your assigned day a few minutes early
- Be able to relay information regarding the details of the workout for the day
- Lead the warm-ups and drills
- Start the main set
- Collect everyone at the end of the main set and ride back to start
- Assist during the two official team weekend rides (Pie Ride, Fraser 50)
Note that during the main set of the weekday workouts, you are free to do your own workout. You are not expected to know the physiological details of training, etc. and should forward any questions to Scott if you don’t feel qualified to answer them.
Though it would be great if you could make it to all the workouts and the two weekend rides, we know that’s not always possible. If you have to miss a couple during the season, that’s OK. Just let Scott know far enough in advance so we can have the workouts and rides covered.
In exchange for your hard work, you’ll get free entry into Brute Squad (which includes your kit), and reimbursement for any race entry fees for 18 Hours of Fruita, Winter Park Point to Point, CU Short Track, and the Audi Snowmass 50.
