City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks (OSMP) is set to replace the decking on the trail bridge over Community Ditch on Doudy Draw starting starting as early as Monday, March 31. This essential work will result in a 24/7 closure of the bridge, but don’t worry—all trails will remain open!
🔹 Closure Area: The Doudy Draw Trail bridge crossing Community Ditch only—no other trails will be affected.
🔹 Closure Dates: March 31st – April 4th (weather permitting).
🔹 Closure Hours: 24/7 bridge closure.
You’ll need to use an alternate approach if you are riding from Boulder to hit Springbrook, here’s two options.
Option #1 – Take Community Ditch East to Greenbelt Plateau. Cross Highway 93, take Flatirons Vista North to Doudy Draw.
Option #2 – Take Community Ditch West, make a right on Doudy Draw to Highway 170. Ride 0.7 miles west on Eldorado Springs Drive, Make a left on Country Road 67 and take Springbrook North Road to the Springbrook Loop.
