The Details
Ride and Dig! We’ll be working on a few braided areas just below the Springbrook Loop intersection on Doudy Draw. The trail has gotten wider in these areas due to muddy conditions or objects in the trail causing users to deviate from the original line. We will scratch out the line that goes away from the original line and repurpose the old line to function better, including adding drains or rock armoring where necessary. We’ll also be adding rock armoring to a small drainage crossing just below the intersection of Springbrook.
The plan is to ride up to the work area from Doudy Draw trailhead where tools will be stashed and ready to go. Work will go to dusk and then ride back to the parking lot.
