BMA volunteers put in over a hundred hours of work the weekend of August 3 – 4 building a brand new trail, currently called New 3. New 3 will create a new connection between Observatory and Hobbit 2, allowing trail users to bypass Jeep Road 355. The trail will traverse the hill just west of Rd 355 and travels through an open meadow with great views to the southwest. New 3 will be hand-built by volunteers and is expected to be completed by the end of August. Join us at our next volunteer weekend to help finish the trail, August 24-25!
