Greenbelt Plateau Rock Garden Project

What: Fix/repair erosion above the Community Ditch Bridge while also creating a spicy rock garden for experienced mountain bikers

Details

This short section of trail has eroded over the years to a challenging rock garden that most cyclists walk – both up and downhill. BMA is working with City of Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks (OSMP) to repair the erosion and create a line that beginner riders, gravel cyclists and adaptive riders can more easily negotiate while leaving a technical line for advanced riders.

This summer, OSMP will also be rerouting the upper part of this trail from the rock garden to the farm road.
