Construction has finally begun on the long-awaited North Sky trail north of Boulder! Crews started digging on June 26 on this new 3.5 mile trail that will connect north Boulder to Joder Ranch. City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks, Highline Earthworks and BMA will be building the trail with machines and hand finishing.

BMA has been assigned to build a roughly 1 mile segment of NEW trail from the Joder Ranch terminus to the south.

BMA Trails Program Director Mike Rutter will be operating a mini-excavator to rough-in the trail and we’ll be hand finishing with BMA volunteers to make it bike optimized and fun. Check out our volunteer dates, or contact Rutter to set up your own event with 5 or more volunteers.
