The Marshall Mesa Trailhead is expected to close as early as Monday, October 21, for a year-long coal mining reclamation and trailhead improvement project. When BMA heard about the extent of the closures, we worked with the City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks to add a temporary access trail to the project so that people riding from Boulder to the trails would still have a safe way to access the system. Thanks to city staff and a mighty crew of high school volunteers the temporary trail is ready to go ahead of the closure.
