Big news for Boulder cyclists, walkers, and outdoor lovers: the City of Boulder has officially kicked off construction has on the new Valmont Road multi-use path! This project will create a much-needed safe and convenient connection between Gunbarrel and Boulder, making it easier for everyone to get around—whether you’re commuting, exercising, or just out enjoying the day.
The new path is all about improving safety on a busy stretch of road, giving people a dedicated space to bike, walk, and roll away from vehicle traffic. It’s also set to play a bigger role in our regional trail network, with the potential to connect to the future Boulder to Erie Regional Trail (BERT).
