Thanks

The Erie Singletrack Trails are closed as of Thursday, April 18 due to wet and muddy conditions. Trails will be checked again in the morning. #boco_trails

The Erie Singletrack Trails are closed as of Tuesday, April 16 due to wet and muddy conditions. Trails will be checked again in the morning. #boco_trails

The Wapiti Trail and Ponderosa Loop at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. The Wild Turkey and Picture Rock trails remain closed due to springs running, creating muddy conditions. Enjoy! #boco_trails

The Schoolhouse Loop and Grindstone Quarry Trail at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. Wapiti, Wild Turkey, Ponderosa, and Picture Rock remain closed due to muddy conditions and flowing springs. Enjoy! #boco_trails

Schoolhouse loop has with known problem. Ride the chicken line and it will be fully dry tomorrow.

The springs are all flowing and making opening difficult. Wait until you see Wapiti.

OSMP is making progress on repairs along the Eagle Trail & will reopen the Eagle Trailhead & Eagle Trail at 5 p.m. today. Beginning 4/8, it will close parts of the Sage Trail from 7 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri., to conduct trail repairs. https://ow.ly/8MuG50R9vqo #boco_trails

Rabbit Mountain—OPEN. Little Thompson is still draining in one spot but passed. Eagle Wind has about 4 deep holes with mud and water but they will linger. Hikers, you will need to pick your way through.

Side note— trail work happening all along EW.

The Bitterbrush, Nighthawk and Antelope trails at Hall Ranch are now open. The lower lot at the Hall Ranch main trailhead is also open. Enjoy! #boco_trails

The Overland Loop and Lichen Loop at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. Everything else remains closed due to springs flowing and existing muddy conditions. Enjoy! #boco_trails

I just swung open the gates at Heil Valley Ranch. Overland and Lichen Loop are ready for enjoyment due to sun exposure and great armoring where they need it.

Lyons area trail are still wet and running. This is Little Thompson Overlook. I only made it 1/4 mile before deep mud with water coming off the hillside. I am heading to check Heil, Geer Canyon side now. Rabbit Mountain still CLOSED. 🫤

All OSMP muddy trail closures have been lifted - Doudy Draw/Flatirons Vista, Marshall Mesa/Greenbelt Plateau areas and Left Hand Trail are all open. Please go through any remaining muddy spots. More info:  #boco_trails
