I did not have time to check muddy trails in Lyons this afternoon, but snow on Overland/Grindstone still looked good. All trials are still open tomorrow. Enjoy it early if you can.

Rangers opened 6 spaces at Caribou & roadside parking at Mud Lake. There’s more snow up there than any combination of trucks that we have can move. Betasso has limited parking for high clearance. Find a safe and legal spot to park even if you have to hike more to get to the TH

Hall Ranch – Saturday, snowy conditions will begin melting mid day. I expect having to close the park in total tomorrow. Go early or you will be walking in very wet slush.

Trailheads at Walker Ranch, Caribou Ranch, Mud Lake, and Betasso Preserve are closed until early next week due to heavy snow. Trailheads and parking lots may be impassable for several days. #boco_trails

Antelope and Nelson are open at Hall Ranch. We will be keeping an eye on melting over coming days. Pile burns also occurring off Button Rock Trail. Do not report smoke. Expect fire personnel on roads over coming days.

Caribou Ranch and Mud Lake trailheads are closed with nearly 40" of snow and counting. They will reopen when they can get plowed. Trails remain open, but no parking or trailhead access. #boco_trails

Walker Ranch has received about 30 inches of snow and staff has tried to plow but it is too much to clear any trailheads. Please avoid Walker until heavy equipment can clear the trailheads, which will most likely be next week. Trails are not closed but there is no parking. #bo…

Walker Ranch received over 30" of snow, the trailheads are snowed in and need heavy equipment to remove the snow. Until further notice, there is no parking at Walker Ranch. #bocotrails

Picture Rock is open. Staff will be monitoring closely as this wet snow begins to melt in the coming days. Enjoy it while you can. Official text updates incoming soon.

The Picture Rock Trail at Heil Valley Ranch is now open, as well as the Nelson Loop and Antelope Trail at Hall Ranch. This probably won't last very long as we were anticipating more snow. Enjoy! #boco_trails

Hall Ranch has 5 inches of snow, Heil Valley Ranch got 13 so far. After plowing the lots, I will open Antelope and Picture Rock for a day or so while the snow holds.

Fire crews will be burning wood piles at Hall Ranch today, March 14. Smoke and flames may be visible. The area will be monitored to ensure fires are completely out. Residents are asked to not call 911 since a prescribed burn is not an emergency. http://boco.org/prescribedburns

Vehicle access to Mud Lake and Caribou Ranch Open Spaces is currently unavailable. Please stay off the roads and give crews time, once the snow stops, to safely clear roads and parking lots. #boco_trails

The Erie Singletrack Trails are closed as of Wednesday, Mar 13 due to inclement weather.

For the integrity of the trail system, please observe posted closure notifications and do not ride trails until they have reopened. Town staff regularly assess trail conditions. #boco_trails

The Grindstone Quarry Trail, Schoolhouse Loop and Overland Loop at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. Enjoy! Closures may be implemented again later this week with another forecasted storm. #boco_trails
