TRAIL CLOSURE UPDATE: With the forecasted cold temperatures over the next several days, the Picture Rock, Wild Turkey, Ponderosa Loop and northern Wapiti trails at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. Areas of snow and ice still exist. Enjoy! #boco_trails

All of VBP remains CLOSED. Much of the park is still covered in snow and other areas are very muddy. Please respect closures.
The asphalt pump track is clear and open.
Thanks

Rabbit Mountain trails are in good shape. A little muddy, but not too bad. The park will be open tomorrow, Jan. 17, then closed Jan. 18-19 for elk management/hunting. Enjoy the nice weather! #boco_trails

Coal Creek and Rock Creek regional gravel trails both still have many snowy / icy / muddy sections. Mostly rideable but watch out for icy sections on northern shaded areas and expect to get your bike muddy.

Just a reminder that all of VBP remains CLOSED due to snowy and muddy trail conditions. There is still a lot of snow covering the park and trails are either buried or very muddy.
The asphalt pump track is clear and is Open!
Thanks

DEADLINE 1/14: Volunteer on Open Space Advisory Board + Marshall Fire Updates #boco_trails #marshallfire - https://mailchi.mp/bouldermountainbike/advisory_board_2022

Hall Ranch Trails are in fair condition: Bitterbrush & Nighthawk are starting to get muddy, Nelson Loop is still mostly snow packed, and Antelope has more ice than mud. Get out early while trails are still frozen & except conditions to worsen as the weather warms up this week.

Trails in the FlatironsVista/Doudy area and Lefthand are closed for mud. Trails in the Marshall Mesa/Greenbelt area are still closed due to the #MarshallFire. Updated map: http://OSMPtrails.org.

TRAIL CLOSURE ALERT: The Picture Rock Trail at Heil Valley Ranch is closed due to muddy conditions. We anticipate conditions to deteriorate over the next several days with forecasted warmer temps. All trails at Heil are now CLOSED.#boco_trails

Lots of snow at Mud and Caribou and it’s still failing. I’m having trouble keeping the lots plowed due to the constant winds. Due to hazardous road conditions, tomorrow is a better day for a ski or snowshoe. #boco_trails

Reminder, applications are being accepted for openings on the Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee. Applications are due Friday, Jan. 7.
POSAC Info ➡️ http://boco.org/posac
Available Seats ➡️ http://boco.org/BoardVacancies

Trails & trailheads in the #MarshallFire area remain closed. Visit http://OSMPTrails.org to see closures. OSMP is now conducting safety, infrastructure & resource damage assessments in the area. Snow & muddy conditions may slow this work down.
