TRAIL CLOSURE UPDATE: The Skills Loop at Heil Valley Ranch is now open. Big thanks to our Buildings & Historic Preservation staff for making this a priority and getting repairs done after the wind damage. Enjoy! #boco_trails

Ran into @boulderbma doing some trail work on Lower Bitterbrush today. As always, thanks for great work out there! I heard lots of compliments in the 10 minutes I was there talking.

Heil Valley Wednesday—Sadly, picture rock is not close to opening. See photo. I had to turn around and forgot to take a better pic. It’s half snow & half Velcro mud 250 yards below the table, and likely worse higher up. Picture 2 is lower down #boco_trails

2

Hall Ranch—Nelson Loop is drifted in most of the way. Thanks for giving it time to dry. 99% of visitors will leave trail in these conditions and widen them. Staying closed. #boco_trails

4

TRAIL DETOUR ALERT: A portion of the Hidden Star Trail at Niwot Trails open space will be closed for a culvert replacement Monday, March 13, through Friday, April 7. A trail detour will be available. http://boco.org/NiwotTrails #boco_trails

@RyanChiachiere @boulderbma @boulderosmp Lots of closures are still in effect.
HALL: Antelope, Button Rock, Nelson Loop, Nighthawk are closed
HEIL: Picture Rock closed
RON STEWART PRESERVE: Eagle Wind closed

All @boulderosmp muddy trail closures have been lifted - Doudy Draw/Flatirons Vista, Marshall Mesa/Greenbelt Plateau areas and Left Hand Trail are all open. Please go through any remaining muddy spots. More info: http://bit.ly/1g4G0Hd #boco_trails

Heil Valley Ranch trails update: Picture Rock trail & trailhead are closed for muddy conditions. All trails on the Geer Canyon south side are open, except for the Skills Loop, which is closed for hazardous conditions from wind damage to the box car. #boco_trails

Left Hand Trail at Boulder Valley Ranch is now open. All other @boulderosmp muddy trail closures will remain in place through the weekend. http://nixle.us/EARMZ #boco_trails

Update: some trails at VBP are now Open. All XC trails, XS & S Dirt jump lines, S & M Slope Style lines, Dual Slalom, and all Pumptracks are Open. Any trails not listed remain Closed.
Thanks and enjoy!

Irrigation ditch burning begins this Sunday, March 5, near East County Line Road and Hwy 52/Mineral Rd. There may be heavy smoke in the air. Please do not call 911 since a ditch burn is not an emergency. http://boco.org/PrescribedBurns

TRAIL CLOSURE UPDATE: The Overland and Schoolhouse loops at Heil Valley Ranch are now open. The skills loop remains closed, a significant wind event on President's Day damaged the roof of the box car and the trail needs to be closed until repairs are made. Enjoy! #boco_trails
