We all like new bikes & new trails, right? Well, here’s your chance at getting BOTH!
BMA, the Colorado Mountain Bike Association, and Orbea have teamed up with Jagged Axe Trail Design to bring you the newest bike-only, downhill-only trail at Maryland Mountain! You can help us make the dream a reality and get chances to win a new Orbea mountain bike!
Orbea has generously donated more than half of the expected costs and combined with a grant from Team Evergreen Cycling we can see the finish line! Your sweepstakes entry will go directly toward trail building expenses with a planned opening date later this year.
To show their support for mountain biking in the Front Range, Orbea has generously offered either their new Occam M10 LT or the new RISE M10 eMTB (your choice!) in a size medium as the sweepstakes giveaway! Not only will you feel good about helping build new MTB-specific trails along the Front Range, but you could also win a sweet new whip to send that trail with! WIN-WIN!
Occam LT is the wilder side of Occam thanks to more aggressive geometry, Fox 36 forks, and 10mm more travel. Occam LT is hugely capable but also more versatile than a full-on enduro bike with efficient pedaling for all-day rides.
A machine designed to expand your trail experience and bring you closer to the moment. Rise brings you nearer the sensation that less “e” delivers more “bike”. Whether you crave riding greater distances, reaching more epic locations, improving efficiency or increasing the frequency of your adventures, Rise beyond expectations and discover the new standard in MTB.
Maryland Mountain is a special place!
With some of the Front Range’s newest downhill-only, bike-only trails, it’s a mountain biker’s dream destination. Located in the town of Black Hawk, Colorado, Maryland Mountain offers something for every level of rider. With views of the Continental Divide to the west and some of the best downhill action in Colorado, this new trail system provides miles of some of the best mountain biking Colorado has to offer.
Maryland Mountain already offers green, blue and black level trails for riders who want a little bit of everything. This upcoming downhill-only trail will cater to the black/double black crowd. The yet-to-be named trail will surely provide plenty of heart-pounding thrills.
