The Nelson Loop at Hall Ranch took a pounding this past summer with a couple really heavy rainstorms, so I thought I would take advantage of the rain we had last week to try and fill in some of the ruts and rebuild some of the drains. Turns out, there wasn’t much rain up there and it was bulletproof conditions, but I forged on.

Here are some before and after shots of the work I did. Keep in mind, trying to pack dried flour is not ideal so hopefully we get some real moisture soon to actually make some magic happen. I know the brake bumps on the backside are getting pretty gnarly, so that’ll certainly by on the radar.
