The long-planned Boulder to Erie Regional Trail is set for a commissioner hearing on Thursday, October 24, at 9 a.m. Boulder County staff recommends that the commissioners approve an alignment along the RTD rail corridor to connect Boulder to Erie. You can show your support by signing up to speak, either in person at the county courthouse or via Zoom.
BMA strongly supports the Boulder County staff’s recommended alignment, citing its excellent balance of safety, environmental considerations, and visitor experience. This vital regional trail will not only enhance east-west connectivity for cyclists and pedestrians but also contribute to reducing traffic congestion and promoting active transportation in our region.
