Over 100 BMA members attended the Super Summer Bike Bash membership and volunteer recognition party on June 15, 2019 at Oskar Blues’ private farm and bike park in North Boulder. Party goers enjoyed beautiful weather for trying out the bike park, enjoying great food and drink, playing backyard games like Spike Ball, testing their skills on the manual machine and camping out. A huge thank you to volunteers Kevin Bracy Knight and Deb Trevor for planning this party, and all the other volunteers who helped to make it happen!
Troy Mandery was awarded a BMA Lifetime Achievement Award for many years of hard work. He was on the advocacy team that successfully got the Benjamin Loop approved. Over the years he’s built many miles of sweet, sweet single-track and has consistently put in top hours for volunteer trail building. Like those alt lines on Reroot? Another fist bump to Troy. Last year he hand-made cement water bars that were installed on South St Vrain. And he still has rad plans for West Mag later this summer!
Thank you to our business sponsors who helped with the party!
