This warm(ish), dry fall has permitted us some volunteer days out on North Sky. Progress is going well, we are still on track for a spring 2024 opening.
October 26: This stalwart bunch of volunteers braved the fog, cool temps, and rock-hard soils to punch out another section of singletrack on the North Sky trail this past Thursday. They were prepared for battle and battle they did. That was the biggest one-day section thus far of hand built trail on North Sky.
November 20: Thanks to Boulder Junior Cycling for coming out on a blustery November day and adding more singletrack to the North Sky trail!! Rocks were dug…and dug…and dug, but we made our goal of getting through this section of flag line.
A hearty “cheers” to my Lyons neighbor and coach extraordinaire, Lester Pardoe, who organized the event and pushed to get these young whippers out during Thanksgiving vacation.
