BMA’s Trails Program Director, Mike Rutter, has been out on Greenbelt Plateau wrapping up improvements that started last year. If you’ve ridden this trail before, you’ll notice some changes.
For years, drainage issues wore away old water bars and left behind a jumble of rock. Rutter tackled those decades-old problems head-on, giving the trail a much-needed refresh. One tricky corner has been reshaped so it rides way smoother, and there are now some optional rock features for those who want to spice things up. Don’t worry—there’s still a clean line if you’d rather keep it mellow.
The bottom line? Greenbelt Plateau just got more fun. Grab your bike, check it out, and let us know what you think!
