Volunteer with BMA
We’ve got big plans – and to get it all done we need your assistance. Find out all the ways you can contribute your skills, elbow grease, and time to help.
Ways to get involved
Build Trail
BMA builds and improves multi-use trails across Boulder County, contributing thousands of hours every year to creating and maintaining trails. Our trail building events take place on weekday evenings and weekends from April to September.

Guide Rides
Our weekly social rides couldn’t happen without our volunteer Ride Guides. Ride your bike, make new friends, and help build the mountain bike stoke. Our annual ride guide training happens each spring, watch for training date.

Help at Events
BMA often has tables at events and needs friendly volunteers to hand out stickers and answer questions about BMA and mountain biking in Boulder. There’s often perks to helping out like free food and beverages or entries to events.

Teach Skills
BMA’s affordable skills clinics are made possible by our BICP certified volunteer Skills Instructors. Help beginners get comfortable on their bikes – and work with more experienced riders to take their skills to the next level.
