Thank you!
Last November, over 150 BMA members attended the annual Membership Party and donated close to $37,000 to our Trail Fund. We are grateful for everyone’s support and excited to share how these dollars are being used.
BMA was awarded a $16,000 National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance (NWSA) grant to complete three projects this summer:
- South St Vrain rock armoring project
- West Magnolia Re-Root extension
- West Magnolia Hobbit 2, 3, and Schoolbus re-route.
The total value of the work including volunteer hours will be just under $90k.
The NWSA required matching funding from BMA’s Trail Fund. We will use the remaining money in the Trail Fund to apply for next year’s grant to continue the work.
